Curso de Capacitación: ¿Cómo enseñar tu lengua nativa?

A pedido de personas interesadas, el lunes 8 de noviembre a horas 11 (GMT-3; 2PM GMT), se dará inicio al nuevo ciclo de capacitación para la enseñanza de Idiomas a extranjeros, conducido por la Mgter. Edith Luna Villanueva, con amplia experiencia en la capacitación de docentes de idiomas.
El curso de carácter teórico-práctico, tiene como objetivo preparar a aquellos nativos de un idioma que deseen enseñarlo (sea de modo presencial o en línea).
Se preveen 8 encuentros, dos días a la semana, según el siguiente cronograma.

Encuentro #1: Introducción a la enseñanza de Idiomas de nativos a extranjeros

Encuentro #2: Tipos de actividades

Encuentro #3: Relación docente (profesor)- alumno

Encuentro #4: Corrección del error

Encuentro #5: Mecánicas de interacción

Encuentro #6: Planificación (Primera parte: El material de estudio)

Encuentro #7: Planificación (Segunda parte: Cómo planificar la tarea en la clase)

Encuentro #8: Evaluación

El cronograma sugerido es
Lunes 11am (GMT-3)
Miércoles 11 am (GMT-3)

Los encuentros son de 90' y se dictan en español a través de Skype.
Se acompaña de material y se solicita participación activa del asistente.
El costo, por encuentro, es de US$20 via paypal o Transferencia de Dinero.
Aunque es posible tomar encuentros aislados, se recomienda completar el ciclo.

Cupo máximo de asistentes por grupo: 5 (cinco) personas

how are you?
As some of you know, I am looking for volunteers to participate in a research which is not funded by any organization but will give way to a couple of academic papers and further research on online learning.
Its objective is to scketch some principles for the preparation of self-learning material for studying languages, particularly Spanish.
Volunteers are first sent a survey to see level, background, interests, needs, time available for study, etc and, after their answers, they are sent some material- part of a copyright one by the school of languages I am director of studies.
The material is accompanied by a questionnaire, and an active participants are sent another worksheet and so on and on.
The material chosen to be used in this study is Beginners (both true and false) and Pre-intermediate level (A1- A2), but if you know some Spanish, this can help you practice it or refresh it.
To participate, you need to be a non-native Spanish speaker.
Well, if you are interested in joining it or know someone who may be, let me know this week, please. Better if the person interested has no knowledge or scarce on Spanish language.

October special: COMUNICÁNDONOS Beginners Course for U$S50 a month

If you were thinking on taking a Spanish language course and were not able to join one yet for any reason, now, you can take the "Comunicándonos" Beginners (A1) Course for just U$S 50 a month.

Starting in October 13th in these time slots: 11AM GMT; 2pm GMT and 5pm GMT(*), the course will be developed during October, November and December, in twice-a-week classes.

You will join a small group with other learners whose source language is not Spanish and a native-Spanish-speaker tutor and we will gradually develop the contents of a communication- oriented syllabus that will enable you to communicate in the target language, Spanish, by the time you grasp the Spanish grammar.
After the course development you can take an optional level test.
Remember the course includes material Comunicándonos Principiantes Students' Worksheets and invitation to other Spanish South America activities

8 de Septiembre: Día de la Alfabetización

Alfabetizar es mucho más que enseñar a leer y escribir. El poder de cada persona reside en su capacidad de pensar y expresar sus ideas, lo cual convierte a este hecho en la piedra fundamental de toda sociedad comprometida con su realidad y su futuro.
Actualmente se nos plantean nuevos desafíos debido a que los avances tecnológicos han producido cambios radicales en diferentes sectores y la educación no es un ámbito ajeno. Es por eso que el concepto de alfabetización digital se encuentra hoy más que en nunca en boca de pedagogos.
Es cierto que no todos los componentes del mapa educativo (docentes, padres, alumnos) responden de la misma forma a las inquietudes con respecto al rol de la tecnología en el aula pero lo que seguramente comparten es el anhelo que el número de analfabetos tecnológicos disminuya con el tiempo.

Tanto a aquellos que hasta no hace tan poco nos mostraron las vocales en un pizarrón verde o a los que hoy lo hacen a través de una pizarra digital, a todos les agradecemos por igual y les pedimos que no dejen de ser agentes de cambio porque sin lectura no hay pensamiento, y sin pensamiento no hay libertad.

This meeting will include False beginners as well since there will be some material sent in advanced for those who may lack the "skills" to talk about healthy living freely.
18th of August is the chosen date. Those interested, please suggest time slots you can make it (e.g. 4.30 -6pm GMT plus 6-7.30pmGMT) The more time slots you suggest, the more chances to meet other followers than the moderator ;-).

¡Hola a todos!

Followers of Club del Chiste have suggested to form other Clubs or make a little change on the topic of meetings. Some suggestions are:

Reminder:
There are several Clubs where to practice all skills.
THIS club (CLub del Chiste or new suggestions) aims at developing ORAL PRACTICE, ORAL SKILLS which include pronunciation, fluent reading, speaking, questioning and answering, among other activities. Lexis and grammar are learnt and practiced in context and a fun atmosphere is a constant. To participate you need to have a Mid beginner level or plus, a microphone and headphones or speakers. Material is sent before the meeting to specially help those who are not good at improvising.
Club del chiste (Joke's club) have live meetings that last an hour and a half. They are weekly or every other week, on demand. Participation in meetings is paid in advanced ($5) and up to 5(five) people take part in each meeting to allow everyone actively participate.
Those interested, please suggest time slots for the dates metioned above, schedules you are sure you can make it (e.g. 4.30 -6pm GMT plus 7-8.30pmGMT). The more time slots you suggest, the more chances to meet other participants than the moderator;-)
